AC Plastic Developments Ltd is an engineering company, located in the historic market town of Buxton on the edge of the Peak National Park.

AC Plastics specialises in the manufacture of plastic and aluminium components, and has since its formation in 1973 produced many high quality parts, primarily for the Chemical and Filtration industries, including the production of nearly 2000 polypropylene Filter Housings for GAF Filters, prior to GAF being bought out.

Over the last few years, our client base has increasingly diversified and subsequently our in house skills base has by training, both internal and external, broadened and increased.

This, coupled with investment in new and replacement machinery, improved technology, advanced CNC milling and turning, and increased capacity, means that we now produce components for a much wider range of industries including, Printing, Specialist Display, Automotive, Construction, Electrical, Food, Packaging and many, many more.

We produce and stock a wide range of machined pressure pipe fittings in PVC, ABS and Polypropylene. We also produce standard and bespoke items in Engineering Plastics, Polyolefins, Fluorpolymers, High Performance Plastics, Nylons, Aluminium, and Transparent Plastics. (E.g. Polycarbonate, Acrylic)

Our components and signs are now to be found fitted to and forming various systems throughout Europe, The Middle East and Asia as well as the UK.

Added to the above, our increased production facilities, now allow us to manufacture components in small production runs.

As well as new-machined parts, there has been a significant increase in the amount of repair and replacement work for components generally sourced outside the UK.
Our ability to respond to breakdowns and emergencies, with repairs to such items as filters, valves, conveyer parts, machine guards and rollers etc. or manufacture of single components, results in reduced or negligible down time thereby saving the user both time and money.
